About Dr. Megan Woroch, ND

My interest in naturopathic medicine grew out of my experience navigating autoimmune disease at a young age. My own health journey is what ultimately led me toward naturopathic medicine, as I began to explore a more integrative path. I experienced firsthand how a comprehensive, whole-person approach could transform my health, and this fundamentally shapes how I practice today. My experiences navigating the healthcare system have inspired me to help others uncover the root cause of their symptoms and create meaningful, lasting changes that support long-term health.

My goal is to help you truly understand your body so you can feel confident navigating your health through a functional medicine and biochemical lens. By understanding the root causes of your symptoms, we can create a targeted and personalized plan that supports your overall health. My approach is rooted in education, collaboration, and evidence-informed naturopathic care, so you feel both supported and empowered at every step.

Special Interests

Autoimmune & Complex Chronic Illness
I take a comprehensive approach to autoimmune conditions and complex chronic illnesses, including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Care focuses on identifying triggers, reducing inflammation, and supporting immune regulation with individualized treatment plans.

Environmental Medicine
I help patients navigate mold exposure, chemical sensitivities, and environmental triggers. Care often includes detoxification strategies, reducing toxic burden, and supporting mitochondrial function and resilience.

Outside the Office

Outside of the clinic, you can usually find me in the kitchen—I love to try new recipes and cook for my friends and family. I love exploring the city on long walks, discovering new neighbourhood coffee shops, and trying out Toronto’s incredible restaurants. I’m an avid reader, a regular at the Brickworks Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning, and, when I need to unwind, I’m probably catching up on Bravo.

Education and Professional Affiliations

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Development Studies from Huron University College before completing my Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I completed a year-long internship at the Schad Naturopathic Clinic, which included a dedicated shift in complex chronic illness care (FM, CFS/ME, and post-viral fatigue), as well as an externship under the supervision of Dr. Tanya Lee, ND, at the Annex Naturopathic Clinic.

In addition to my naturopathic training, I am a certified nutritional practitioner and completed a Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN). To advance my knowledge in functional and integrative medicine, I have completed the coursework offered by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and am currently working toward full certification. I am also a longtime student of the Culinary Arts Program at George Brown College, where I continue to take courses whenever possible.

I am a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and I am licensed through the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

Additionally, I have completed training in facial rejuvenation acupuncture and am certified as a birth doula.
